Where: Martinborough. 

When: Saturday 9 March at 8 am. 

200 km brevet around South Wairarapa.  

Start from Martinborough out to Featherston, then head down the western lake and up the hill towards Ocean Beach for the first control point. 

Then it's off to Ngawi via Pirinoa, and on to Cape Palliser for the second control, before returning to Martinborough. 

This ride has nice rolling terrain around the lake and coast, with great views and 3 good  climbs. 

The final 2 km from Ngawi to Cape Palliser is gravel, but it's not difficult and is worth riding to see the lighthouse, and to get a close up look at some seals.
