New to the Kiwi Randonneurs Gravel series the ever popular Hinekura classic is a favourite with locals looking for a great day out. We have two distances to choose from.
At 82km dont let this one fool you, its no walk in the park. While there is only 25km of metal its the best type and you make your way through farms and eventually to the top of Admiral Hill. with 1371 metres of climbing and pretty much nothing in terms of services once you leave Martinborough make sure you have plenty of water and food.

Significantly harder than the Admiral loop, you head out of Martinborough towards the coast first with your first climb up Dry river road before heading back towards Hinekura. Before you join the Admiral Loop, the route takes you down to the Paharoa Scienitific Reseve on the coast where you turn aroung and make your way back to the Hinekura Hall and pickup the other course. 2165 metres of climbing this is a big day at the office for most. There are no services and you cannot pickup water at the hall so come prepared for a big day out
