Rules

Kiwi Randonneurs needs to conduct its rides lawfully, and in accordance with the rules set for each type of ride to ensure that the results are recognised by our international governing bodies, affiliates and peers.

Kiwi Randonneurs: Night Riding Rules

The Night Riding Rules supplement any night riding rules specified by other cycling organisations. The Night Riding Rules are consistent with New Zealand legislation, regulations and rules. In any case where there is a perceived conflict with rules set by International cycling bodies, the Night Riding rules shall take precedence.

Audax Club Parisien: Brevet Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRM) Rules

Many rides organised by Kiwi Randonneurs are sanctioned by Audax Club Parisien and operate under their BRM rules.

The BRM rules specify the rules and time-limits that apply to free-paced Randonnees. To receive a brevet for a BRM ride, you must follow these rules.
