Support we will provide
Randonneuring encourages self-sufficiency. For this series we will arrange limited support to ensure that riders are not stuck in the middle of nowhere (or is that middle earth?) should you encounter a major mechanical or injury. We will also ensure that you will not be left with an empty stomach because you arrived after closing time.
- Accommodation for 7 nights
- Transport of overnight bags for riders (please pack compactly)
- Collect abandoned riders in case of breakdown
- Brevet cards, cue-sheets and GPS files
- Food will only be provided at selected checkpoints, where services such as cafes, stores or pubs are not expected to be available at the time we anticipate riders to arrive, or are required to leave to stay within time-limits.

What is a "Home Club and "Home Club ACP Code"?
If you are the member of an overseas club that is known by Audax Club Parisien its name and a club code (number) will be registered with ACP. We need this so that we can process results and so that you can find your brevet numbers if you enter PBP. If left blank we will assume you are either a guest or full member of Kiwi Randonneurs, club code 101501.
Tracking Devices
Kiwi Randonneurs requests that you carry a tracking device. We will be using the Follow My Spot website to assist the organisers in knowing where riders are on the road. Often riders family and friends enjoy following your dots on the online tracking website. Follow My Spot supports SPOTs, DeLorme InReach and the ViewRanger Buddy Beacon App.
Kiwi Randonneurs will be borrowing SPOT devices for loan during this series. If you would like to borrow a SPOT on a cost recovery basis, we will confirm the cost of this service with you before arranging it on your behalf.
Do you take Visa or PayPal?
Yes, we have added PayPal payments to our website so that those without New Zealand domiciled bank accounts are able to participate. Unfortunately there are fees when using Paypal and/or Credit-Cards. Kiwi Randonneurs runs on a cost recovery basis and will need to recover those fees from you through a surcharge of $25.80.
