2015 Annual Report
AGM Agenda 2016

2 January 2016

Dear Club Member

Notice of the Club Annual General Meeting

Monday, 8 February 2016 at 9:00am at Turangi Holiday Park

13 Te Reiti Tamata Grove, Turangi

On behalf of the Club Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). The agenda, annual report, and the financial report for this year will be available on the Kiwi Randonneur website from 20th January.

The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of Kiwi Randonneurs Club’s members to hear about the progress of the Club, recent and on-going developments and the many achievements ofthe club and its members during the past year. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club.

A minimum of 10 voting members are required to conduct the AGM. I encourage members to attend in person as this AGM coincides with the Volcanic Excursion event with both a 300k and a 600k brevet option. Those who are unable to attend in person will be able to participate via an audio phone conference service. Details of this service will be provided prior to the event.

Voting members may make nominations for the committee to be elected at the AGM. This must be done by sending the nominees name, the post for which they are nominated and the names of both the proposer and seconder to the Club Secretary. This should be received no later than Monday 1 welcome for all positions.

The positions that are open for nominations are:

  • Club President
  • Treasurer and Membership
  • Secretary
  • Media editor/Communications officer
  • General Committee member

The AGM will also consider a range of important club matters as outlined in the attached agenda. In addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevantto the AGM, then please note that this should be submitted to the secretary, in writing, at least seven days before the meeting.

I urge you to attend and support your club. There will be some finger food and refreshments available and everyone is invited to stay after the AGM to socialise.

Yours sincerely

Jeremy Rowe

CLUB SECRETARY
